Republican Robert Barr Repeatedly Committed Adultery, Lied Under Oath
Congressman Joins H.H.H. On 100% White Male Prosecution Team

Publisher Larry Flint today [January 11, 1999] released evidence documenting the fact that Republican Congressman Robert Barr, a highly vocal critic of President Clinton's sex life, repeatedly committed adultery, and lied under oath. Hypocrite Barr, who is on his third wife, had sexual relations with her repeatedly before finally divorcing his second wife, who is now destitute, according to sworn affidavits.

In addition, Barr lied under oath in a sworn affidavit when he stated that he opposed an abortion that his second wife had in 1983. During election campaigns, Republican Barr has been a vocal opponent of abortion in an effort to ensure support from the radical Christian Coalition, even going so far as to state that he would use every legal means to prevent his wife from obtaining an abortion, even if her pregnancy had resulted from a violent rape!

Congressman Barr not only drove his first wife to the hospital to obtain the abortion, sitting in the waiting room while the supposed 'murder' took place, he paid for the abortion. Publisher Flint released documents signed by Barr authorizing payment in full for the abortion.

Barr joins the 100% white male, 100% Republican team lead by Hypocrite Henry Hyde, himself an admitted long term adulterer, which has been chosen to represent the House of Representatives and thus, in theory, the American people, as prosecutors at the trial of our twice popularly elected President. The lameduck H.H.H. is considered a hardline advocate of the 'suicide at any cost' strategy popularized by retiring Republican Speaker Newt Gingrich.
