Signs of the Times: Stop Burger King?

Crofton residents who travel Underwood Drive have recently noticed quite a number of "Burger King" bumper stickers on traffic signs. Since this is illegal, we thought that maybe the local hamburger joint would take the lead in removing these ugly stickers.


Anne Arundel County has still not corrected the misspelled "Tilghman" street sign that Crofton Online brought to their attention, despite assurances made to us that the sign would be corrected "in a week or so."

Crofton Online has also been checking into the correct spelling of "Riedel Road." Although street signs put the "i" before the "e" in Riedel, in many places it is spelled "Reidel Road." We have determined that the street was named after the Reidel family, pronounced "Riddle," but the county originally misspelled it. The misspelling stuck, and now Riedel is considered the correct street spelling.
