In a 'guest' column published in its December 2nd edition, the Crofton News-Crier attacked gays and lesbians, arguing that they were deliberately spreading the AIDS virus.

The column, reminiscent of racist attacks published during the 50s and 60s, accused lesbians of sexually assaulting teenage girls, and accused our school system of trying to force homosexuality on students. It claimed that AIDS is a homosexual disease, and that gays were deliberately spreading it.

Tres Kerns, the author of the column, accused "homosexualists" of pushing the "gay agenda." Kerns is seeking publicity and funds for a nonprofit organization of bigots that he recently founded. He lives in Pasadena.

Apparently Kerns believes "homosexualists" are the 'nigger lovers' of the 90s.
