Coffee House Provides Top Quality Entertainment At Low, Low Price
'Open Mike' Format Offered at Local Church

The Crofton City Limits Coffee House has entered its seventh year of providing the Baltimore-Washington-Annapolis communities with what has been called the "best entertainment bargain around" by a local music critic, without ever having booked a single group to play at its monthly concerts!

With a low $3 admission charge, which INCLUDES coffee, sodas, and snacks, Crofton City Limits is held on the second Friday of each month at Community United Methodist Church on Riedel Road, in Crofton, Maryland. Their doors open at 7:00 PM with music beginning at 7:30. The next concert is scheduled for Friday, February 11, 2000.

The format is strictly open mike, with musicians signing up to play as they arrive.

The quality of the music is absolutely phenomenal. Many performers have CDs on the market, and regularly 'play for pay' at establishments charging much much more, for an admission which doesn't include anything except a seat.

Why do musicians continue to play at Crofton City Limits for free, often passing up paying gigs? The audience is quiet and appreciative, and truly comes to listen. The sound system and building acoustics are also better than many professional clubs. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

See you on Friday, February 11, 2000!
