A Crofton Online Review
Mitchell Wood Farms Featured in National Magazine
Mitchell Wood Farms, our second featured 'Farmer of the Week,' offers sixty varieties of air loom tomatoes, and...
...forty varieties of peppers.

You will find them at the Crofton Farmers Market at the Village Green in Crofton every Saturday morning from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM through October 24, 1998, rain or shine! We suggest you get there early, as many vendors sell out!

As a result of the tremendous demand for their produce, Mitchell Wood Farms is putting sixteen more acres into production, and building additional greenhouses, keeping the farmers there very busy. They use absolutely no pesticides or chemicals of any kind. They also grow blueberries, six varieties of beans, and beautiful flowers. In fact, the Crofton Country Club purchases flower bouquets from them on a regular basis. The flowers are also available at the Farmers Market. The farm will be featured in an upcoming issue of Country Living magazine. Way to go, guys!

Mitchell Wood Farms also raises peacocks and chickens. Peacock feathers are available for purchase.
The lines begin to form as the market opens at 8:00 AM. Get there early for the best choices, because most farmers sell out.

Check back often as we add more 'Farmers of the Week.'
