It is the policy of Crofton Online to publish ALL comments we receive, in full. If you wish to add your comments, just let us know. This month we received the following comment from Ted Pazur about our article on annoying telemarketers. "I'm now receiving 4-8 calls per DAY. There is never anyone on the other end. I'm assuming these are computer-dialed calls. I've called the telephone preference center in New York and all I get is a recorded message telling me to mail them my name, telephone number, etc. and then hopefully in 90 days or more my calls will be reduced. Isn't that wonderful!!. Do you have any advice for me? If you send me the bumper sticker, I'll certainly use it. Thanks. Ted Pazur" Well, Ted,we aren't really sure what you can do. Despite our efforts, we are still receiving the same 4-8 calls per day. We've ordered another batch of bumper stickers and will send you one as soon as they arrive. If you'd like a FREE bumper sticker ("Stop Telemarketers"), just let us know. We also received the following from Vasseur Emmanual. Does anyone out there speak French? "Bonjour, Je suis etudiant et j'aimerais recevoir votre Cd gratuit pour une configuration Windows 95, mon adresse est la suivante : Emmanuel Vasseur 1, rue des linandes mauves, Appt 21-D 95014 Cergy Cedex France E-Mil : Emmnuel.vasseur@eisti.fr Merci. Vasseur Emmanuel" We received several letters from a journalist in Poland. It seems that Crofton Online was mentioned in a Polish newspaper. Click here for details, including a copy of the article. Can anyone read Polish? And a note from someone who received our free CD-ROM: "We received the CD ROM of Betsy today when we got our mail from the post office. We were out of the country for 10 days, and just got home. Thank you very much, and we will be viewing it later this evening. Continued blessings and may God keep you in the palm of his hand today and forever. Peace,Love and Joy Preston & Denise Colangelo" Stay tuned. More later. |
