Crofton community activists have begun a petition drive to convince the Anne Arundel County government that we need a new library now.
The long planned library was to be built at the corner of Aberdeen Drive and Riedel Road, that is until funding was suddenly cut from the budget. As regular users of the library in the Metro / K-Mart shopping center can attest, the current facilities are really overcrowded. The staff there is doing a great job under trying circumstances.
You can now sign the library petition online! Click here.

The Crofton City Limits Coffee House celebrated its seventh anniversary on January 14, finally generating a little bit of press coverage in the Baltimore Sun and in the Annapolis Capital / Crofton News-Crier. The next concert will be Friday, March 10. Incredibly, the $3 admission charge includes hours of top quality live music, AND all the coffee, soft drinks, cookies, cake, and other snacks you care to consume. Complete details here.
Both major Crofton grocery stores - Giant and Metro - now offer FREE online coupons that can be easily downloaded and printed at home prior to your next food shopping trip. Click here for direct links.
