After the Republican suicide march last year lead by Newt Gingrich, Hypocrite Henry Hyde (HHH), and Wayne Gilchrest, Maryland citizens who want a voice in their government are increasingly recognizing that their future is with the Democratic Party.

On Saturday, October 30 Maryland citizens will meet en masse at the Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro (for directions, click here) to discuss the future of government in the nation and the state of Maryland. All are invited to come make their views known.

Events will run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and will include numerous workshops. Jesse Jackson Jr., Roy Romer (outgoing chairman of the Democratic National Committee), and others will address the group. Elected Maryland officials from all levels, including Governor Glendening and Senators Mikulski and Sarbanes, will be in attendance to talk to citizens.
