After spending several days discussing Seinfeld, I have concluded that I am the only person in the entire universe who liked the final episode. Not only did I like it, I really liked it.
Now I admit that the pre-show hype was a bit overdone, but let's be honest: The ending of Seinfeld isa big deal. Mr. Seinfeld and his friends gave us big chunks of their lives for quite a few years. Even though they have been financially rewarded, they deserve our thanks as well. Money can't buy back time.
But I thought the whole concept of the show was both ingenious and funny. The trial provided the perfect opportunity for a series of brief, hilarious flashbacks; and the ending, "Johnny Cochran" in bed with "Lois Lane" really had Newman (and me) chortling.
