As many of you know, there have been a number of spontaneous 'yard sales' along Riedel Road off Route 424, but the county police insist that this is illegal (see link below). We have put together a proposal to move the sales onto the parking lot at Community United Methodist Church. To read the proposal, click here. Crofton, Maryland is noted for its many and varied yard sales. On any Saturday morning, from early spring until late fall, a short drive around the community will lead you to literally dozens of great sales. A good place to start is by driving around Crofton Parkway; it is directly accessible from the Route 3 main entrance. The Parkway runs in a circle; the best thing is to drive all the way around, in either direction. You are likely to see numerous signs pointing you in the right direction.
